The clubhouse at Nicklaus Club - Monterey presents a spectacular ensemble of gathering areas, designed with a romantic ambiance and enjoyment in mind. A traditional Spanish hacienda theme persists throughout the secluded, intimate environment. Created by the legendary Hart-Howerton architectural group, the club’s elegant décor is a result of contributions from local craftsmen, artists and designers, who were recruited to create Nicklaus Club - Monterey’s timeless look. Hand-painted frescos, walls, ceilings and borders are combined with elaborate Italian tile flooring and reclaimed train trestle timber ceilings, all contributing to the clubhouse’s old-world character and charm. A mixture of outdoor patios and courtyards complement the indoor spaces to share special occasions with family and friends. The Private Dining Room is available for gatherings up to 170 guests, while the Club’s Conference Room can be arranged to fulfill meeting and business requirements for small groups, as well. Full-service men’s and women’s locker rooms and lounge areas complete the experience in grand fashion.
